TJP Drama Meets R Fun!

♔ TJP Autumn 2016 ♘  The Dictionary Salesman

Imagine someone is trying to sell you something mysterious. Something you have never heard of before – a dictionary!
What would you need that thing for? Well, you can look up words like 'assistance', but does it assist you writing a letter to your friends...? 'Q' seems pretty nice, 'S' is good as well!
Will the dictionary be worth the purchase? Let's hit the stage and find out together in the one-act play “The Dictionary Salesman”!

Fun activities are going to be conducted as we explore the mechanics behind a stage play. Ever wanted your child to know the behind-the-scenes of a performance? Fret no longer as we bring you the full access! Participants will be involved in each step of putting up a performance. Of course, their acting skills will be trained and honed throughout this session!

*Dress rehearsal and the show are MANDATORY for all cast members and the stage crew. Please make sure that your children will be available for these dates before signing up. Guardians are responsible for punctual dropoff & pickup. Too many missed rehearsals may lead to casting change. Depending on the numbers of signups, we may have separate groups according to ages. We will keep you informed on that.

TJP is an all-English group with no Japanese translation. There will be homeworks and reading/writing assignments. Children may be recommended to take supporting English classes.

Fee:

30,000yen for the whole session (individual dates can not be purchased. Attendance is very important!)
(signup fee for new members (2000yen)

10% Early Bird discount for signing up by the end of July.

Referral Program:

For each friend or family member you introduce to us, you will receive a 5% discount on your own booking. Referred friends and family must be first time TJPers.
(Referrer and referee must be signed up for the same season in order for the referrer to receive the discount)

TJP is ready to start the production of our next play! This autumn your child will become a salesman of words!

What do you need to write a letter to someone? How about a dictionary? There's quite a lot of letters in there! A, B, C... Wait. Maybe we should check the meaning of 'letter' first...

In “The Dictionary Salesman” we will explore the joys of language. Join us for a whole lot of wordplay fun and let's blow some wind through the pages of that dusty old dictionary on the shelf!

Sign-up is rolling and is a first come first serve!
